Super Max™ Canopy, 12 ft. x 26 ft.

Have been using shelter logic canopys for over 20 years now. I have been very satisfied with the products with no issues. Just wish you would decide what sizes you are making and stick to them, have to modify the dock they sit on every time there is a size chage.

We had a 10 X 20 previously (that lasted over 15 years!) but decided to upgrade to the 12 X 20 . What a difference! This one is so much sturdier- larger legs an more supports. We LOVE it!!!!

There is nothing even close to this canopy in size or quality for the price of this product. This comes with 2" steel legs, steel angles and roofing. My previous two, much smaller, canopies collapsed under moderate snowfall. This won't. Wish I had found it sooner.

I’m a residential contractor and we get a lot of rain in are area. The Supermax canopy allows us to keep material dry on the jobsite as well as giving us a dry space to work under when the weather is bad. Great product!

#Sweeps I originally purcahsed 4 of these canopies back in 2020 when the pandemic started for us to use as additional outdoor work spaces to allow for more social distancing at our site. They worked very well for that, then when the pandemic was over we decided we could use them for our sitewide events we have several times a year. We used to use a whole bunch of pop up tents for shade but they would easily blow away in the wind and many became damanged quickly. We have these tents bolted together and just remove the tops when we are not using them for events. This year we purchased 2 more. I highly recommend these if you need shelter from the sun for your events.

This is my second 12 x 20 ft Super Max canopy; I purchase the first at Sams' Club sometime in 2012 or so. A tree fell on that one, so bought the second direct from Shelter Logics website. The original version came in a large box, as it was composed of one piece legs and upper canopy segments, approx. 6 1/2 ' long, all segments were 2" diameter steel tube. The recent purchase from SL came in a relatively small box, as the design was changed so that 2 segments are joined to make a single 6 1/2' leg and upper canopy segment. All leg segments are 2" diameter tube, as well as the corresponding segments forming the triangular top support. Here is the bad: all the upper canopy longitudinal segments, along each side and at the apex of the canopy top are made using 1 1/2" diameter tube; this allowed them to pack a 1 1/2' tube within a 2" tube in the box, but thus greatly diminishing the overall strength of the canopy. So no longer 'Super' Max, more like 'OK' Max, a regrettable compromise on Shelter Logic part. This allows them to use the smaller box, save weight and thus shipping costs, but I would prefer a version using 2" diameter for ALL segments, even at a greater cost. We have high winds occasionally where I live, but the install is nestled so as to have wind block, and as well we anchored the legs as directed. However, SL degrading the design strength by using the weaker 1 1/2" longitudinal tube will make the constructed canopy more vulnerable to strong wind or other stress placed on the canopy. One recommendation for better strength - we used #8 or so self threading metal screws to secure all segments together at each joint. SL provides only a basic bungie assembly at each corner to hold down the canopy onto the 4 end leg upper ends to secure these points from lifting in wind. I recommend securing all joints, to avoid creaking in winds as well. We also dug small depressions at each leg base, filled with larger gravel followed with pea gravel for final leveling, so as to allow give at these stress points. You can then use a stronger bungie wrap around at the leg base, and attach the bungie end to a stake. DO NOT STAKE DIRECTLY THROUGH THE 8 PLASTIC FOOT PCS!! Stress will eventually crack the plastic. The bungie allows give during minor shifting. Packed well, good directions, good customer communication re shipping, just recommend offering an all 2" tube version.

My husband and I purchased the 18x30 to cover our trailer and provide some dry space. We ordered the 18x30 ft. When originally shipped, Shelter Logic sent two of the same part boxes so when we went to set up the canopy we had double some parts and were missing half. Our assembly was delayed 2+ weeks as I had to call and get proper box of parts shipped. Upon trying to build the canopy we came across several challenges. 1. All of our parts were labelled with the old model numbers; nothing we had in front of us corresponded with the Manuel to build. I had to call and speak to customer service to try and figure out what pieces replaced what. 2. Several pipes were warped/factory deficiencies and could not fit the joints properly. My husband ended up having to saw through and then use pliers to forcibly bend end pieces to fit. My husband is a builder so had the tools and knowledge of how to do this. Many people who purchase the canopy likely wouldn’t have all the tools we actually required to put it together. 3. We had to purchase different fasteners that we could use with the drill, because the ones included wouldn’t fit in the holes because the pipes didn’t line up. Throughout the process from purchase to completion the Customer Service team were helpful. They definitely felt sorry for us and tried to help by reshipping correct parts and over the phone support. In the end we gave up at 24 feet and abandoned trying to struggle through trying to get the pipes to fit.

Well made goes up fine. I have one already that use at family reunions and large gatherings.

The first canopy came in it had gotten holes in the canopy from a pallet being set on top of it called Shelter Logic talked to Lee Ann and she took care of it and sent another canopy to replace it very satisfied with the product and the service I received from them Thanks, Berch
